Project portfolio prioritization for PMOs Split the budget across programs without the annual fight.
Objectives are what the organization says it wants. Sponsors rate them, each with a weight. Programs are rated on how much they deliver each objective. From there the split is arithmetic, and every sponsor can see how their weight moved the money.
Objectives rated by the sponsors, not guessed by the office
Each sponsor rates every objective from a private link. Their answers are theirs, dated and kept. The office sets the weights on purpose, and the report prints them.
A budget split in proportion to weighted value
Give the model a total, in hours, in your own currency, or both, and Allocation splits it across programs in proportion to their weighted value, with sub-programs rolled up under their parent. The portfolio conversation starts from a number, not a blank sheet.
A record of every review
Save a version of the decision report at each review and the history of the decision is kept. Objective coverage shows which objectives no program serves yet, before the year is committed.
- Budget allocation in hours or money, proportional to weighted value
- Objective coverage that shows which objectives nothing serves
- Saved report versions at every review, share links for every sponsor
Your nouns: objectives and programs, the portfolio preset.
